谷歌明日将公开展示基于Android系统、集上网和电子邮件服务于一体的首款手机，售价大约为110美元。

GPhone的直接竞争对手包括苹果的iPhone、黑莓和诺基亚等手机厂商推出的大批智能手机。

这款手机是由谷歌与中国台湾的宏达电子合作开发而成，业内人士猜测这款手机配备了触屏和滑出式QWERTY键盘。

它将在英国T-mobile的3G网络上运行，预计将从下个月起开始出售。

首款谷歌手机是宏达电子的Dream系列手机，其他厂商如LG和三星等也将在未来12个月推出各自的谷歌手机。

谷歌将在明日的纽约产品发布会上首次公开GPhone功能的详细资料。

然而，泄露的图片已经反映出它的操作方式。高速上网是苹果iPhone的重要卖点之一。

然而，据说GPhone上配备了一个谷歌按钮，用户按下那个按钮就可以加快上网的速度。

虽然GPhone与iPhone都采用了触屏技术，但是两者最大的差异在于GPhone还配备了一个滑出式物理键盘。

更重要的是，用户还可以在GPhone上同时运行多个应用程序。

因此，用户或许可以同时观看YouTube视频和更新Facebook上的项目。

市场人士认为，第三方厂商还可以利用谷歌的Android操作系统通过手机提供大量服务，如卫星导航和播放音乐等。

比较少见的是，GPhone上预装了一款名为TuneWiki的音乐播放器软件，它可以同步显示歌词，这样用户就可以用GPhone来唱卡拉OK。

与iPhone一样，GPhone也具备倾斜感应和照相功能。

到目前为止，通过手机上网的速度一般都比较慢，存在许多技术问题，限制了手机上网可访问的网页数量。

Android操作系统可以有效解决这个问题，它实际上是把GPhone转变成了手持个人电脑。

谷歌去年宣布Android计划的时候，还成立了开放手机联盟组织，该组织主要由手机厂商和网络公司组成，那些公司旨在加快移动业界创新和为用户提供更丰富、更便宜、更优秀的移动体验网络。

作为该计划的一部分，谷歌将Android建成了开放式平台，这也就是说，其他人可以随意使用它，而不用担心侵犯版权。

因此，任何懂点编程语言的人都可以在Android手机上运行地图、日历、字处理和游戏等软件。

该消息人士还透露，YouTube打算向娱乐行业的广告客户销售主页广告。事实上，这些客户已经将视频网站作为营销工具。其透露，YouTube将向这些客户提供优惠服务：它们只需按原价或者20万美元/天的价格就可得到主页广告位。首批客户可能未来两周就可以在YouTube主页看到其投放的广告。

　　由于Google一贯反对在搜索引擎主页放置广告，所以YouTube很少考虑在主页投放广告。为此，其尝试过播放前广告、覆盖式广告及在视频播放过程中插入广告等方式，结果收效并不如人意。不过，业内一致认为Youtube主页才是该公司最有价值的资产，同时也是最容易获得广告收入的页面。
